UK wholesale gas and power prices have jumped sharply in recent weeks, and the outlook for the next few months is increasingly volatile.

Wholesale prices right now

Day‑ahead gas is around 137 p/therm, up roughly 72% versus yesterday and about 71% over the past 30 days.
Day‑ahead electricity is about £121.56/MWh, up more than 80% versus yesterday and roughly 41% over the past month.
Forward “Summer‑26” contracts are also much higher month‑on‑month: gas up about 65–71% (c. 126–135 p/therm depending on product), power up about 41–47% (around £101–£106/MWh)

Moving into a new property

How long does it take to switch energy providers?

It normally takes around 5 days to switch business energy suppliers. We'll work we the suppliers to make sure everything goes smoothly and update you. We will let you know when it is all gone through and when to give meter readings.

What is MPAN/MPRN number?

Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) is used to identify individual electricity supply points. It's usually a 21-digit number with the letter 'S' at the beginning and is displayed in a grid. Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) is used to identify individual gas supply points. It is normally is made up of numbers and doesn't contain any letters.

Do you offer ongoing services?

Yes. The energy market is ever changing and quite volatile. Keeping track of the market and recognizing beneficial times to enter a new contract is a lot of work. Our energy brokers do that work for you.
